Urban Issues Influencing the Lives of Black Males

Gun homicide, disproportionate minority confinement, unemployment, family and social relationship issues, healthcare, criminal profiling, poor financial well-being, poor academic preparation and performance, poor personal choices.... There are many issues that young black males face in America. At The Black Male Summit®, a non-profit, faith-based community prevention and intervention program of events, we want to make sure that young men understand that they are not alone in their struggle. The Black Male Summit® is a multi-disciplinary, scientifically, evidence-based program designed to identify and address some of the issues black males face. We are here to help them tackle and overcome these hurdles, equipping them to contribute well to our society.
